On November 19, Jennifer Nash will give a talk titled "Picturing Loss" on grounds. Nash is the Jean Fox O'Barr Professor of Gender, Sexuality, and Feminist Studies at Duke University. Her book explores the place of the photograph in Black feminist writing. This talk is co-sponsored by the Department of American Studies, the Department of Women, Gender & Sexuality, the Department of English Language and Literature and the Sound Justice Lab.
