Cecilia Marquez, Hunt Family Assistant Professor of History at Duke University, joins us on Wednesday, October 18 at 3:30 PM to present on her newest book, Making the Latino South. Cecilia's research focuses on the history of Latinx people in the US South, and she writes/teaches about the formation of Latinx identity, Latinx social movements, and the importance of region in shaping Latinx identity.
